The V&A have announced that they have received the gift of a ‘G’ Papillon ring, generously donated by Beyoncé Knowles. In a new commission by the Holburne Museum, renowned artist and pioneer of contemporary British Craft Linda Brothwell has created a playground of textures and colours in stone, wood and metalwork in response to the most intricate works in the Holburne Museum’s collection. Brothwell’s work will be shown alongside the elaborate carved wooden, gilt bronze and hardstone plinths upon which Sir William Holburne displayed his porcelain and bronzes.
