Transition
Transition , a group of recent MA postgraduates from the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, is showcasing their latest work at the Old Fire Station Gallery, 52 Market Place, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, RG9 2AG from 24 th – 29 th January 2019. This exhibition, called Transition-Henley presents established makers who work in diverse disciplines including glass, jewellery, metal, textiles and product design. Innovative artworks express messages of ethnic unity by means of textile structures, show how the random weaving of willow can create beautiful forms and spaces, highlight the use of plant dyes in woven wool rugs, communicate the hidden distress of mental illness
