Orkney jewellery designer  Zoe Davidson  has been raising funds to help with the refurbishment of an island lifeboat museum through sales of a limited-edition collection of her work. Stromness-based Zoe created the special silver Longhope collection after learning that the Longhope Lifeboat Museum , on the Orkney island of Hoy, was launching a fundraising drive. IKEA Bootcamp Accelerator for Start Ups Organised by IKEA A three-month Sweden-based accelerator programme for start-ups from anywhere in the world that are creating solutions to everyday problems. Based in Älmhult, Sweden, the programme will offer participating start-ups co-working space in the IKEA Range & Supply Democratic Design centre, including access to the prototype shop, test labs and in-house expertise on topics such as business development, UX, design, growth hacking and fundraising. The selected start-ups will also benefit from a €20,000 grant, tailored mentorship from an IKEA business professional and Rainmaking’s network, and free accommodation in Sweden for the duration.
