Goldsmiths' Centre Precious Metal Grant Winners Announced

The Goldsmiths’ Centre’s Precious Metal Grant is an annual competition which provides 750 of precious metal bullion to a select group of Jewellery and Silversmithing students across the UK, providing the opportunity to translate their designs into precious metal.  This week, The Goldsmiths’ Centre announced the eleven winners of its prestigious Goldsmiths’ Precious Metal Grant competition. The grant offers students the opportunity to showcase their design skills using up to £750 worth of precious metals, supplied by Cookson Precious Metals (London). The finished pieces form part of the students’ final degree show, many are also showcased at other graduate shows

Call for Applications: The Precious Metal Grant Competition The Goldsmiths’ Centre has now opened applications for its Precious Metal Grant competition aimed at HND, BA or MA level students studying jewellery, silversmithing or a related subject. The grant offers students the opportunity to design and produce a piece of their own work in precious metals supplied by Cookson Precious Metals (London) worth £750.   These annual bursaries give up to 12 silversmiths and 8 jewellers the unique opportunity to design and make jewellery, silverware or associated pieces in precious metal, based on the quality of their submitted designs.
