Call For Entries 2022 : Loewe Foundation Craft Prize The Loewe Foundation has opened the call for entries to the fifth edition of the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize, an international award celebrating excellence in craftsmanship. The Loewe Foundation seeks to recognise uniquely talented artisans whose artistic vision, technical skill and determination to innovate will set new standards for the future of craft. LOEWE Launch 'LOEWE EN CASA' Series on Instagram Live

Founded in 1846, LOEWE may be one of the oldest luxury houses, but it never falls behind. Loewe announces winner of Craft Prize

Launched by the Loewe Foundation in 2016    to celebrate excellence in modern craftsmanship, the   Loewe    Craft Prize has announced its winning entries  of 2017. Ernst  Gamperl  of Germany was awarded the prize for his work  ‘Tree of Life 2’,  selected from among   26 finalists . Loewe Reveals Craft Prize Trophy

The newly established Loewe Foundation Craft Prize launched earlier this year with the aim to recognize emerging artisans, has announced the creation of the award’s winner’s trophy.  Designed and made by Alex Brogden, it was engraved by Graham Saggers at the Goldsmiths Centre. The Loewe Foundation have announced that their expert panel has selected the 30 finalists of the 2022 Loewe Foundation Craft Prize. Having received over 3100 works submitted from 116 countries and regions around the world, this year expereinced an exquisite level of entries. The overall winner will be announced on June 30 in Seoul, followed by an exhibition of all shortlisted works at the Seoul Museum of Craft Art opening on July 1. 30 works have been selected as Finalists by the Experts Panel. Scotland's Paul Adie 'proud' to be 2018 Loewe Craft Prize finallist

Scottish jeweller Paul Adie will find out next week if he has won the prestigious 2018 LOEWE Craft Prize after he became one of just 30 finallists shortlisted for the second iteration of the awards, created to recognise the merits of artisanal excellence. After deliberations in New York, the Craft Prize jury has selected Metanoia by Eriko Inazaki as the winner of this year's prize. Inazaki’s intricate ceramic sculpture was created through an accumulation of miniscule forms that coalesce across the work’s crystallised surface. The jury commented on Inazaki’s exceptional take on ornamentation in ceramics, the like of which they have never seen before.
