A desire for flexible working arrangements and a reluctance to relocate for more senior roles were the reasons behind a gender pay gap in the jewellery retail industry that was higher than the national average, research has shown. Theo Fennell collaborates with Peter Harrington books

Peter Harrington, the UK’s largest rare bookseller, has collaborated with its London neighbour, British jewellery designer Theo Fennell, to launch a new exhibition within the Theo Fennell gallery in Fulham Road, which is on until Thursday 12th July. The exhibition features rare Peter Harrington books from the 15th to 20th century including Goldfinger, The Secret Garden, The Arabian Nights, The Seven Pillars of Wisdom and The Complete Pooh Series which have been paired with Theo Fennell related jewellery pieces, including The Colosseum Ring, The Henry V Brooch, The Oscar Wilde Ring, The Empty Quarter Ring and the Emerald City Ring.

Announced: Enjoia’t Award Winners 2016

On 30th of September the awards ceremony and party of Enjoia’t 2016 organized by Artists and Artisans of Fomento para las Artes Decorativas (A-FAD) took place at the garden of the Maritime Museum of Barcelona, with a large attendance by the Spanish jewellery community. At the party, the creative shortlisted pieces were displayed, which were designed to consider small-scale production, using unforeseen materials and techniques. Twenty three semi-finalist designers presented their jewellery pieces during that same afternoon to the jury, which was the XXII edition of the event, The jury was presided over by the jeweller and member of A-FAD,
