MASieraad Hasselt-Amsterdam is a private initiative by Gijs Bakker, Ruudt Peters, Ted Noten and Liesbeth den Besten. Inhorgenta Munich has reported strong growth figures for its 2018 show, which took place between 16 to 19 February. The event organiser reported that some 27,000 trade visitors from over 70 countries visited the German based trade show. As a reflection on conversations between Hyve, the organiser of Jewellery & Watch and Fashion (JWF), and the community it serves, the show has taken the decision that JWF 2020 will not take place this year and will return as an in-person event in 2021. Birmingham City University's School of Jewellery student Kai-Blu Triassi has won the annual Weston Beamor  Live Project  with his contemporary geometric ‘Dyad’ engagement and wedding ring set design.
