MASieraad Hasselt-Amsterdam is a private initiative by Gijs Bakker, Ruudt Peters, Ted Noten and Liesbeth den Besten. The British Craft Trade Fair (BCTF) has announced that it will run an online, interactive exhibition for designer-makers who are already signed up for this year’s event. The online show will be open to registered and approved buyers from June 14 – 15 (10.00 – 17.00) via the BCTF website , with this year’s BCTF award-winners being announced on Monday June 14 at 17.00. Jewellery Quarter-based designer Fei Liu has sold his bespoke ‘Poppies in Love’ at auction. In 2021, Fei Liu Fine Jewellery revitalised its fine jewellery line with one-of-a-kind pieces in gold and platinum; selling across the UK, US and Asian markets. Since its rejuvenation, the designer brand has seen sales double from the prior year and a higher intake of bespoke commissions from private collectors.
