The Goldsmiths’ Centre has awarded its first round of Business Catalyst (Small) Grants to four exceptional early-stage jewellery and silversmithing businesses, made possible through the generosity of modern philanthropic giving via the Goldsmiths’ Foundation from members of the Goldsmiths’ Company. Each £1,000 grant will enable Kristina Merchant (Kmercht), Makila Nsika Nkaya (M.Kala), Katie Watson, and Estelle Melissa Burton to invest in essential tools, specialist training, and new collections to enhance production, expand product ranges, and advance their businesses. Endangered Crafts Fund Small grants to help the most at-risk crafts Deadline: Friday 17 October 2025 at 5pm Heritage Crafts invites craft practitioners and organisations in the UK to apply for small grants to fund projects that support endangered crafts (the craft must be listed as endangered or critically endangered on the current Red List of Endangered Crafts ).
