Vintage Garrard pieces, amongst others, to be auctioned at Chorley's Country House sale later this month
Established auction house, Chorley's, will be selling a significant collection of jewellery later this month; belonging to the late Mrs Rook. Mrs Rook was married to Major Laurence Rook MC at the picturesque Manor Beverston Castle, which was once part of the great lordship Berkeley; taken from Roger de Berkeley by Henry I. She was a long-standing client of the House of Garrard, the prestigious crown jewellers. The collection on sale features a number of pieces by the House, who also designed the Dutchess of Cambridge's engagement ring.
