I am looking to sell my fabulous Magic 70 Jewellery Engraving and cutting machine.  These machines are designed to engrave and cut precious metal. I bought this machine in-case I needed a back-up to my first two engraving machines, in-case they went wrong, but I have never needed it.

Aside from learning how to use it, it has had very limited use, so is in excellent condition.

It can engrave flat work pieces, pieces with a slight curve, inside and outside of rings and bangles. The rotary clamp and L tool for engraving rings and bangles is built in to the machine.  It also comes with the adaptor to engrave small cylinders, such as pens.  The pen attachment is included.  It can engrave silver, copper, brass, platinum, aluminium, stainless steel, wood, various plastics and glass.

The pressure of engraving is adjustable within the software program and tension is adjustable manually on the machine.

It can drag engrave using diamond or carbide tips or deep (rotary) engrave using V cutters and end mill cutters.

It can cut through sheet metal such as copper, brass, silver etc. Cutting can include any (small) shape you input including letters  /words / patterns, or simply the shape of your piece, removing the need to cut out or pierce your jewellery pieces by hand. You can purchase an extra attachment for the cylinder adaptor if you want to deep engrave / mill / carve / cut on the outside of rings.

You can adjust the speed and depth of cutting for different materials in the software.

The Magic Art software is free to use and is included and can engrave an enormous amount of different fonts or any patterns you chose to create or upload via .bmp, gif, .pcx, .tiff,.wmf,.png, .jpeg, svg etc. For engraving text or patterns/images, it can engrave as a single line, outline or hatch fill engraving. It can also engrave handwriting, photo marking, fingerprints, barcode and more. It can also add drilling positions to drill your holes for you.

You can purchase a separate watch adaptor if you wish to engrave watches.  There are other jigs/clamps that you can purchase for the machine, but I have found that the cutting clamp, standard flat jewellery clamp and rotary and pen clamps that come with the machine have been sufficient for my needs.

I have never had any problems with this machine, but for my other machines (which are also Magic), I have always received answers for any technical questions directly by email from the manufacturers, and have been easily able to acquire replacement parts through UK suppliers.

It comes with a full instruction manual, but I am happy to help with any (reasonable amount of) questions that I am able to answer for the first three months.

All works as it should. I am reluctant to sell it, as it really is a fabulous and very adaptable machine, but it is a lot of money sitting there doing nothing. All original parts and accessories are present.

Please note.  The software is not compatible with MAC machines
