Bench space is available immediately in a lovely, light mews studio in Iliffe Yard, Kennington/Elephant & Castle, in the renowned Pullens Yard. It is ideal for a designer-maker.
The bench comes with a 15 drawer Bisley cabinet for storage, bench peg and light. The set up is comprised of 1.5 benches per person, as the bench has the added bonus of a spare bench in between, creating a spacious working environment or for shared use when required (eg. soldering, computer work etc.)
The studio was renovated by award winning architects and is well equipped with a kitchen equipped with a fridge & cappuccino machine. It has a rolling mill, pendant drill, hand butane torches, pillar drill, wax injector, saw, ring stretcher, draw plates, bench shears, electric saw, linisher, grinder etc).
It is in a gated community of artists, craftsmen, architects, graphic designers etc with gated entrance, 24 hour access, bike racks and an on-site cafe. It hosts 2 open studios per year with the opportunity to build clientele and sell to the public.
Monthly rent, inclusive of electricity, service charge and wifi, is £330 per month.
Iliffe Yard is a 5-10 min walk to Elephant & Castle overland/tube and Kennington tube.
