RiVa Jewels and the anatomical jewel

A new conception of the decorative spaces of the body is the stylistic fashion of Riva Gioielli that with freshness and simplicity create linear and geometric collections, able to surprise the eye writes Ilaria Ruggiero.
Without constructions or conceptualizations, the designer Allegra Pazienti focuses on comfort, functionality and innovative elegance. She tries to surprise with grace, and she succeeds.
Sobriety and modernity are the terms that Allegra uses to describe her production.
Sober but never banal, the design that characterizes her creations is inspired by the anatomy of the body, chasing and reproducing it.
Stars, spikes, triangle, circles, some flowers and small animals are the rouge file of the various and original collections. The ear remains one of the main focus of the designer, perhaps because close to the face, a place of privileged expression.
RiVa Jewels - ear cuff and more is born from an awe of the goldsmiths art that then develops around the movement of the body and it’s sinuosity, as a study of anatomy that brings craftsmanship, art and jewellery design to the forefront.
Considering the jewel an extension of the body, the designer works above all on the stylistic evolution of the ear cuff, a distinctive element of her collections. She presents earrings, rings, bracelets and necklaces, individual pieces that decorate and embellish the body as harmonious irreproducible signs of great uniqueness. The lines are defined, essential, natural and contribute to reinforcing an identity and an already distinctive trait, both very significant.

The material work carried out on the metal surfaces in brass or silver, polished or smooth, is expressed with knowledgeable mastery in the tapered shapes, in the design and in the curves. All the lines are born from the development of the sculpture-earing - Ear cuff - key piece of all the collections, from which then branch out rings, bracelet cuffs and pendants in keep with the vibrant visual play.
About The Designer
Allegra Pazienti is born and lives in Rome, where she works in her studio in Trastevere. She has a degree in Communication that brought her to curate important cultural events between Rome and Torino in the last 8 years but her passion for craftsmanship, the jewel, art and design then push her to frequent a goldsmiths laboratory, from there she then decides to launch her independent project and the brand RiVa Jewels in 2014.

She is the founder of Adornment - Curating Contemporary Art Jewelry, a curatorial integrated project dedicated to contemporary art jewelry.
