The Vanilla Ink Programme has extended it’s deadline for applications. It’s been a busy time of year for everyone and we wanted you to take more time over the application and have decided to extend it into the New Year. Give your jewellery or silversmith practice the best starter package with the Vanilla Ink Professional Development Programme.

About the Incubator Programme
The Vanilla Ink Programme is Scotland’s unique incubator pod, with the aim of developing new talent by providing a supportive and educational environment. Vanilla Ink enables the best new designers to develop and grow their business in a fully equipped workshop.
Each 'Inker' is given tailored mentoring and monthly professional development workshops throughout the 9 month programme. It's the perfect starter package to ensure each ‘Inker’ develops confidence and business skills to last a lifetime. Working with key members within the creative and business sector, the programme will give an insight into what it takes to become a goldsmith/silversmith in today's landscape.
We think there is a difference between making jewellery and being a jeweller. The difference between having a dream and making it real is understanding the market, your place in it, and acknowledging a need for a supportive transition from education to independent success as a maker.
We know it’s a big and sometimes scary world out there but only if you’re on your own. That’s why we offer a friendly, collaborative, studio environment, expert one-to-one mentoring from industry professionals, tailored business advice and support, with time to find your feet, manage mistakes and make your mark.

Call for Applications
Applications are now open for the February intake in 2018 with two application offerings. Access to the full programme with 24 hour access to a fully equipped workshop and skills development workshops from our Head Goldsmith, or access to just the professional development programme.
