Survey: Craft & The Experience Economy

Calling All Makers

Survey open until 30th April

Do you teach a creative skill?

How has it impacted your business?

We would love to hear from you

We are seeking workshop facilitators / craft educators from all disciplines to share their views, opinions & experiences.

I'm currently researching the impact of the Experience Economy on craft businesses - i.e. what happens when makers open up their workshops to the public in order to teach / demonstrate their skills.

There's plenty of existing research about the wellbeing benefits of craft practices, but very little about how a shift from selling work to selling 'experiences' impacts makers and their creative practices. Teaching had unexpected impacts on my own business, and I am curious to hear from others.
