Summer Fayre at St Donat’s Castle, UWC Atlantic, Saturday 8th June

Our summer fayre at St Donat's Castle (in the Vale of Glamorgan) often welcomes over 3,000 guests and families for the day. The event gets bigger and better each year with a variety of activities to attract shop-a-holics, families and adventure lovers. The summer fayre offers a range of live music, magic show and bookable adventure activities. But the event wouldn't be possible without a community of quality food, drink and craft traders.

Pitch locations include:

  • Outdoor Food/Drink Vehicle in Food Court @ £150 
  • Outdoor Food/Drink Pitch at Seafront @ £90
  • Craft Stall in Bradenstoke Hall or Dining Hall (Castle) @ £100 
  • Craft Stall in Great Hall (Castle) @ £100
  • Craft/Food/Drink Stall in Glassroom (St Donats Arts Centre) @ £100 

All prices are inclusive of VAT.

A £15 discount applies if you attended the 2023 Christmas Fayre.

About the Event

A great day out for the whole family, you can browse a wonderful collection of food, drink and craft stalls, enjoy live music entertainment or book onto activities available throughout the day.

The fayre is set across the charming rooms of St Donat’s Castle and Arts Centre as well as the striking outdoor gardens and seafront area.

This fayre offers a mix of traders from family-friendly and charity stalls to luxury handmade crafts and gifts. Stalls include a variety of jewellery, wood, glass, ceramic and textiles. You will also find a diverse range of food stalls from sauces, to brownies to preserves and more.

Indulge yourself in food freshly prepared by our outdoor street food traders who offer a diverse mix of international foods from around the world.

St Donat's Castle is in Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan and is just 40 minutes from central Cardiff or 20 minutes from Bridgend. To find us, click here

Entry includes:

  • Access to a selection of outdoor international cuisine food traders
  • Access to over 60 indoor food, drink and craft traders
  • Live music on the Top Lawn overlooking the sea (or Tythe Barn of St Donat's Arts Centre if wet weather)
  • Family magician 'Simon Sparkles' show in Tythe Barn of St Donat's Arts Centre 
  • Access to the 122-acre campus with original Tudor gardens and woodland
  • Bouncy castle

You can also book the following additional activities:

  • 60-minute indoor and outdoor lido pool session (£5pp)
  • Archery experience (£5pp, ages 6+)
  • Climbing wall experience (£5pp, ages 6+)

Early bird entrance fee is £10 per car / £2pp on foot when booked before 31st March 2024

Tickets booked after this are £12 per car or £3 arriving on foot. Please note booking is required.
