Spring Fling 2026

Applications for Spring Fling Open Studios 2026 are now open.

pring Fling is the flagship event in Upland’s year-round arts and development programme. Applications are now open for artists and makers to apply to take part. The 2026 event will take place during the late May Bank Holiday from the 23-25 May.

Applying to take part – What you need to know

Applications are now open and close at 9am on Monday 13th October 2025.

Applicants must apply via the SF2026 Application form – emails/postal applications will not be accepted. However, if you have any issues with the online format, please contact us.

There is a £16 application fee (non-refundable) which is made on submitting your application. If successful, participants are required to pay the participation fee of £270 and a £20 refundable sign deposit.

To support artists and makers in taking part, we have limited financial aid through our various schemes including the Step-Up Bursary, the Emerge Mentoring Programme, and CREATE.

The selection panel will meet and make their selection within two weeks of applications closing. Applicants will be informed early November.
