Recommendations Open for the 2025 NAJ Chair’s Award
The National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) has opened recommendations for the 2025 NAJ Chair’s Award, recognising an individual or business that has made an outstanding contribution to the UK jewellery industry.
Supported once again by Mastermelt Ltd, the award will be presented at the Benevolent Society Christmas Ball at The Grand Hotel, Birmingham, on Thursday 4 December.
Last year’s recipient was Alan Cohen, former President of the London Diamond Bourse, honoured for his pivotal voluntary work with G7 nations, government bodies and the World Diamond Council to help minimise the impact of Russian diamond sanctions on the UK trade.
NAJ Chair Adam Jacobs said,
“As the trade association representing the largest and most diverse community for professional jewellers, it’s a privilege to acknowledge the exceptional contributions of those who have helped shape and support our incredible industry over many years.”
Stephen Groves, General Manager of Mastermelt Ltd, added,
“As Mastermelt celebrates its 40th anniversary, it is fitting to continue our long-term support of the NAJ Chair’s Award, recognising long-standing contributions to our trade. We look forward to celebrating with the winner at this year’s Benevolent Society Christmas Ball.”
