PARADOX: PREZENTACJE 2027 International Jewellery Competition

Poland’s Association of Goldsmithing Artists (STFZ) is inviting contemporary jewellers worldwide to enter the 23rd edition of its international PREZENTACJE competition, on the theme of paradox.

PARADOX explores situations where seemingly contradictory qualities, meanings or orders coexist. What looks heavy may seem light, what is fragile may prove durable, and what is thought worthless may take on particular value. Jewellery can adorn and discomfort, protect and restrict, and stay close to the body while also standing alone as an object.

The last edition, SILENCE, attracted around 140 entries from around the world, with 44 works selected for the exhibition.

Jury

Ruudt Peters, Justyna Teodorczyk, Jacek Byczewski and Renata Adamowicz, with one further member from the Amberif fair to be announced.

Who can enter

Artists, designers and makers working in contemporary jewellery and goldsmithing, from any country and at any stage of their career. Teams can enter if all authors are named.

What to submit

Up to two works or sets per entrant. A set counts as one entry only if it is conceived as a single whole.
Works must be new: not previously exhibited or entered in another competition.
Maximum size 30 × 30 × 30 cm. Larger works must be discussed with the organisers first.
The jury judges the original physical works, not photographs, so pieces must be posted or delivered to arrive by the deadline. The date the work is received counts, not the date it is sent.

Entry fee: €20 per entry for international participants (non-refundable)

Prizes

First, second and third prizes, honourable mentions, sponsor prizes and a YOUNG VOICE award for an entrant under 25.

Key dates

Registration and delivery of works: by 31 January 2027
Jury deliberations: 13 February 2027
Awards and exhibition opening: provisionally 11 or 12 March 2027, at the Amber Museum in Gdańsk during AMBERIF

After Gdańsk, the exhibition will tour galleries and museums in Poland and abroad until May 2028.
