Call for Applications: Haystack Summer Workshops 2026
Norwegian Crafts and the American-Scandinavian Foundation offer two spots for Norwegian or Norway-based artists and duojárat to attend workshops at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts during the summer of 2026.

About
Haystack Mountain School of Crafts was established in 1950. The school is located on Stinson Neck, a cliff overlooking Jericho Bay in the Atlantic Ocean, in the small island community of Deer Isle, Maine (USA). At the school's summer workshops, artists can participate in one or two-week residencies with expert guidance in specific fields such as ceramics, textiles, glass, printmaking, metals, wood, and blacksmithing.

As part of the network Norwegian Arts Abroad (NAA), Norwegian Crafts is currently moving the application system to a new platform. Applications for opportunities offered by Norwegian Crafts shall from now on be submitted via the new application portal eApply.
