Open Call for Exhibitors: Acquire

Acquire - a selling event of selected artisans of jewellery & silverware in Harrogate.

I am pleased announce an open call for the last few stands at the ACQUIRE Jewellery and Silverware Show 2024, taking place in the historic town centre of Harrogate. This premier event will showcase the artistry of contemporary fine jewellery and silverware across the elegant rooms of The Crown Hotel, offering a unique opportunity for artisans to present their work to discerning buyers.

We are particularly interested in receiving applications from makers based in the north of the UK.

There is no formal application process, artisans should email Joanne to express their interest and supply links to their websites and Instagram pages.

Event Overview

ACQUIRE is dedicated to providing a high-quality platform for both exhibitors and attendees. Following our successful inaugural show in October 2023, we are excited to continue this tradition in 2024. The event will feature 30 handpicked artisans, each displaying their exceptional craftsmanship in the prestigious Bronte Suite and Thackwray Suite of The Crown Hotel.

Thursday, 10th October: Private View from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM including a glass of prosecco.
Friday, 11th October: Open from 10 AM to 5 PM and Late Opening evening 5pm to 7pm with Free Entry
Saturday, 12th October: Open from 10 AM to 5 PM
Sunday, 13th October: Open from 10 AM to 4 PM

Location

The Crown Hotel, renowned for its impressive frontage and central location, offers convenient access to Harrogate's main shopping areas — only a 5 minute walk from large parking facilities, and near to the excellent eateries such as Bettys Tea Rooms, The Ivy and Hotel du Vin.

The exhibition rooms are on the ground floor, ensuring easy access for all visitors.

Acquire Talks

We are delighted to introduce ACQUIRE Talks, a series of ticketed morning sessions.

Featuring esteemed speakers such as

Susan Rumfitt ( BBC Antiques Roadshow jewellery expert & based in Harrogate),
Dr Gordon Hamme ( contemporary silverware specialist), and
Jon & Mark RM Weare & Co, (gemstone dealers of York.)

These talks will cover topics in Jewellery, Silversmithing and Gemmology and will take place in the Montpellier Room of the Crown Hotel.

Exhibitor Information

Exhibitors will be provided with Tableau display counters and tower showcases, designed to enhance the display of your pieces within the open and attractive rooms. Our layout maximizes space and light, creating an upscale atmosphere conducive to engagement and sales. Each stand comes with a chair, an over counter floor lamp and an exhibitors' room will be available for storage, tea and coffee and rest.

We are offering two stand sizes:

Large Stand: Counter showcase plus Tower showcase @ £1,100 + VAT
Standard Stand: Counter showcase only @ £800 + VAT

Exhibitors may use removable stickers on the showcases and bring cassette-type unroll posters for additional branding behind their stands.
