Cockpit’s eight-session business programme helps early-career makers strengthen their offer and build a steady, sustainable business.

Starting in January 2027, Make It Count combines expert guidance, workshops, peer learning and the chance to test ideas in the real world. Topics include business vision and values, goal setting and planning, finance and pricing, finding your market and customers, and making the most of events and opportunities.

It’s aimed at makers who have a signature body of work that is ready for market, or will be within a year, and who are registered as a sole trader or thinking about it. Cockpit offers subsidised places for self-funding makers.
