Call for Applications: LCB Depot Craft Programme 2025

This June LCB Depot’s programme is for creative people working in ceramics, glass, metals and textiles and other contemporary craft mediums. It's our annual opportunity for you to get involved, whether showcasing and selling work, or running events/workshops, and connecting with other professionals.

The season is open to all, whether you’re based or studying in Leicester/shire, the East Midlands or inter/nationally*.

This year's exhibition will be made in collaboration with our lead partners The Clayroom and DMU Design Craft

It's FREE to enter. 

A panel of professional contemporary craft designers and makers will select which submissions will be in this year's exhibition- we’ll get back to you with their decisions as soon as possible. (We suggest that you enter work that you've already made as we have a pretty tight turnaround!)

Selected work will exhibited at LCB Depot (+ potential other venues) as well as online via social media at #craft @lcbdepot.

We're also interested in hosting craft related events during the season from demonstrations to workshops, talks and screenings. You can get involved in our family day on June 14th, do something at the launch at our busy street food nights (May 30th) or during other open times. Send your ideas to exhibitions@lcbdepot.co.uk

Finally we'd like to invite you to use the space as a studio, maybe making work together, maybe catching up on admin or just hanging out. However the space is useful for you, it's free for you to use (as long as it can work in the space and remains open to the public)

The deadline for submission is 23.59 on Sunday May 4th. We'll let you know if you're selected by the end of the following week

Work chosen for the exhibition will need to be delivered by May 23rd at the latest

The Craft 2025 programme will launch on May 30th and be open to the public from June 2nd - June 20th

* international work can only be displayed digitally
