Call for Artists, Makers and Designers - mobile “Future Home” stucture for Knowle West Media Centre, Bristol.
Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC) is seeking to commission an artist, maker or designer to create an engaging mobile structure where people can experience the home of the future.
The Future Home will:
- navigate the streets of Bristol, popping up at community events and festivals
- pique people’s curiosity and delight the senses
- inform and inspire people about emerging tech and eco, from solar panels to smart appliances

Artists Fee
The commission is £10,000 – inclusive of artists fees, materials (vehicle to power the mobile structure) and all expenses.
Application Deadline
The deadline for application is midnight on Thursday 17th May 2018.
A prototype Future Home will need to be ready for use at the end of June 2018.
