JOYA will be held from September 22 to October 24, 2021
JOYA Barcelona Art Jewellery & Objects is the main art jewellery and art objects event in Spain. Gathering a great number of independent artists as well as related organizations, schools and other entities. In times of transformation, we have chosen the ALQUIMIA theme to represent the change and hope we have in turning our present into a better future. We invite all participants to interpret this theme in the next collection presented at the event.
"The doctrine and experimental study of chemical phenomena that developed from Antiquity and throughout medieval times and that sought to discover the constituent elements of the universe, the transmutation of metals, the elixir of life and the search for stone philosopher. Gold as a representation of purity and transmutation, as we currently seek post-pandemic health and well-being."
