Call For Applications: The Guild of Enamellers Bursary Award 2020
Applications are invited for The Guild of Enamellers Bursary Award (2020). This prestigious award, which is now attracting record numbers of applicants, has a generous prize fund and is a wonderful opportunity for new enamellers to showcase their enamelling skills.
Deadline for applications is 31st July 2019. All applications are made digitally through the Guild of Enamellers’ website, where full details, and terms and conditions are available. www.guildofenamellers.org
Due to the generosity of our sponsors, the Award winner will have a free place at the Guild of Enamellers Conference in April 2020 (sponsored by WG Ball Ltd.) with the opportunity to exhibit their work and enter for a range of awards. The prize fund also includes editorial and promotion in the Guild’s journal and website; tools & equipment from Vitrum Signum and Proops Bros. Ltd; membership of both the Guild and the British Society of Enamellers; sample enamel sets courtesy of Milton Bridge Ceramic Colours Ltd; access to the extensive Guild library and a set of Guild teaching DVDs.

Requirements for selection
- Some previous experience of vitreous enamelling to guarantee a sustained interest.
- Statement declaring how you would benefit from a bursary and how your interest in vitreous enamelling could be developed.
- Applicant’s CV (aimed at students, recent graduates and early career enamellers, there is no age limit but we would appreciate an indication of your age).
- Digital images of 3 different pieces of vitreous enamel work recently made by the applicant. For further information refer to our Image Information
