Gbp 100k Public Arts Trail Commission: EXPERIENCE Project Penzance, Cornwall Council

As part of the EXPERIENCE project, Cornwall Council is looking to commission an artist/a consortium of artists to create an arts trail along the Marazion - Penzance Coast Path.

This is an exceptional opportunity to create an artistic landmark of national significance for Cornwall. This arts trail will encourage people to connect with Penzance's cultural and natural assets, providing an opportunity for contemplation, reflection and engagement.

We are open to innovative and bold ideas and particularly welcome proposals that reflect outstanding and socially engaged practice. We expect the artworks to be sustainable in line with the project's ethos encouraging sustainable tourism as well as cycling/walking along the path.

This is part of the EXPERIENCE project, co-funded by Cornwall Council and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg France (Channel) England programme under the Natural and Cultural Heritage funding category.
