Each month, FORGE pop-up showcases embrace a unique theme. Applications are one for June, July, August and September. Her is an overview of our themes for each month:

JUNE: GIRL WITH A PEARL EARRING

A classic portrait - let’s create some new ones! Celebrating the gem of the sea - the Pearl. A showcase dedicated to the use of pearls in classic and contemporary jewellery. If you have a few pieces or a whole collection that celebrates this beautiful natural treasure - then we want you! (Not every piece needs to include a pearl!)

Open to Public: Monday 1st July - Monday 29th July
Break down: Tuesday 30th July
Private View: Thursday 11th July

JULY: WATERMELON SUGAR

A showcase showing the yummiest of jewels! From fruits to juicy gems - a mouth-watering selection of jewels. A different take on a celebration of colour - we are looking to create a showcase stuffed with gems of every colour, or maybe alternative materials that utilise colour in exciting ways!

Break down: Tuesday 30th July
Private View: Thursday 11th July

AUGUST: FORGING FUTURES

A Showcase for graduates and those in the first or second year of business, with additional workshops to help with selling and business skills.

Open to Public: Thursday 1st August - Wednesday 28th August
Break down: Thursday 29th August
Private View: Thursday 1st August

SEPTEMBER: OCTOPUS GARDEN

Would you like to be, under the sea? Bring your best ocean, sea, and coastal inspired jewellery to adorn this Octopus’ Garden! Seaside, under-the-sea, and pirate treasures are all welcome for this maritime showcase!

Open to Public: Monday 2nd September - Friday 27th September
Break down: Monday 30th September
Private View: Thursday 12th September

OCTOBER: METROPOLIS

Contrasting urban landscapes and futuristic architecture form the basis of the inspiration for this Showcase. Whether you takes this literally (looking at Vicki Ambery-Smith here!) or something more abstract and brutalist, or even inspired by masons of old - we look forward to constructing an exciting Showcase with you!

Open to Public: Wednesday 2nd October - Friday 25th October

Private View: Thursday 10th October
