Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fairs (GNCCF) are nationally renowned as the leading selling events in the North, providing friendly opportunities to exhibit and sell to engaged audiences. Our fairs are highly regarded for their quality, with exhibitors selected by a panel of experts for their exceptional skills, innovative ideas and ambitious work.

• Great Northern Contemporary Craft & Art Fair, Newcastle
19–21 June | Northumbria University, city centre campus
Following its successful launch in 2025. we are excited to bring contemporary craft and fine art together, with makers and artists exhibiting side by side at this new exciting event for the North East.

• Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair, Manchester
15–18 October | Victoria Baths
Returning for its 19th edition, our flagship fair at the iconic Victoria Baths remains a cornerstone of the UK craft calendar, drawing a loyal audience of buyers and collectors year on year.

• GNCCFonline – Gift Edition
28–29 November
Our national online Christmas shopping event. An accessible and affordable online pop-up - perfect for makers looking to reach Christmas shoppers seeking unique and beautifully made gifts.

We welcome applications from established and emerging makers and artists, including recent graduates, working to the highest standard across a broad range of disciplines.

For GNCCF Newcastle, we particularly encourage applications from artists, photographers and sculptors working in all media, alongside contemporary craft practitioners.

Bursaries are available for new makers across both fairs, with additional bursaries for GNCCF Newcastle for applicants from Arts Council England’s Levelling Up for Culture Places.

We particularly encourage makers from those groups under-represented in the sector to apply. We accept applications from makers based anywhere in the world whatever their background or professional qualifications.

Application deadline: midnight, Sunday 8 February 2026.
