Call for Exhibitors and Demonstrators:
West Dean Arts and Craft Festival 2018
After the success of last year’s Arts and Craft Festival, West Dean College of Arts & Conservation is delighted to announce that in 2018, the Festival will run from 1-3 June.
This is a call to artists, makers and craftspeople to apply to exhibit or demonstrate and be part of this successful contemporary arts and craft festival in a unique arts destination. It is an opportunity to exhibit and sell your work to over 5,000 visitors, all of whom have specifically travelled to the event for the high quality arts and crafts to buy, and the entertainment of live demonstrations, taster workshops and the opportunity to view installations inside West Dean House. It is a vibrant event with lots to hold visitors’ attention.
It is also a chance to exhibit alongside other quality sellers in marquees that are sited close to each other creating a blended experience for the visitor. Demonstrators can take a stand in a shared marquee or in a stand-alone space in a gazebo.
The three-day festival takes place at West Dean College of Arts and Conservation, near Chichester West Sussex. It is a site that has inspired generations of artists, makers, designers and writers through the legacy of artist and Surrealist patron Edward James who founded the College. There will be an exclusive evening event for Exhibitors/Demonstrators at the College during the fair.
