Call for Entries: Craft Festival Bovey Tracey 2027

Deadline: 6pm, Friday 27 November 2026 (main festival). StartUP closes at 6pm, Friday 29 January 2027.
Location: Bovey Tracey, Devon, on the edge of Dartmoor. The festival runs from 11 to 13 June 2027.

Craft Festival Bovey Tracey is inviting applications from makers for its 23rd edition next June, with a separate, lower-cost StartUP pavilion for new businesses.

Now in its 23rd year, Craft Festival Bovey Tracey is one of the leading craft events in Europe. The 2027 festival will bring together 200 selected makers from across the UK, alongside a programme of workshops for all ages, craft demonstrations, talks, films, wellbeing events, street theatre, family entertainment, live music and food.

Past exhibitors speak highly of it. One 2026 exhibitor called it “quite simply the capital of craft”, praising the high standard of work and a keen, focused crowd of new and returning customers.

1. Main festival

Applications are open to makers working to the highest standards in ceramics, glass, textiles, jewellery, metal, wood, plastics, stone, mixed media, leather, recycled materials, printmaking and paper. Selectors look for dedication to quality of making, presentation and originality.

2. StartUP 2027

StartUP is a dedicated pavilion for makers who have been in business for two years or less, having started trading in or after January 2025. It aims to support early careers and promote new creative talent. Stands are offered at a much lower rate than in the main festival. The same craft disciplines and selection standards apply.
