Call for Applications: HammerClub Exhibition 2019

Dock Street Studios, Dundee

27th May 2019 – 30th June 2019

The theme of HammerClub 2019 Exhibition will be “Renewal”. Renewal in the sense of what has been taking place in the City of Dundee and its regeneration as a cultural and creative city; renewal in the way that silversmithing is undergoing a renewal through embracing new and emergent technologies.

The exhibition will take place from 27th May 2019 – 30th June 2019 and its venue is Dock Street Studioswhich has 167sq metres of space and is directly opposite the V&A Dundee.

The Goldsmiths’ Centre in London has invited the HammerClub to a show a selection of works from their exhibition in their atrium space (17.07.2019 – 13.09.2019).

The Scottish Incorporation of Goldsmiths is also keen to show some works at their festival Elements at Lyon & Turnbull Auctioneers in Edinburgh during October 2019.

Both organizations will cover the insurance for the works – Including transport to and from the venues. If you are happy for your works to be considered for either or both of these exhibitions, please check the box at the end of the application form.
