Call for Applications: Fifth Elements Festival 2020
Applications for the 2020 Elements Festival are now open. The sixth Elements Festival of Jewellery, Silver and Gold will be held 6th-8th November 2020 at the stunning Lyon & Turnbull auction rooms in the heart of Edinburgh. The Fifth Elements Festival
The fifth Elements Festival of Jewellery, Silver and Gold took place from the 8th to 10th of November 2019 at the Lyon & Turnbull auction rooms in Edinburgh. This year's fair featured forty-nine of the finest makers drawn from across the United Kingdom. Elements 2019 also held a number of workshops and two wonderful pop-ups at Harvey Nichols Edinburgh and Lyon & Turnbull in Glasgow.
In 2019 we introduced two new annual awards for makers.
The New Makers Award is given to a maker in business less than five years showcasing at the Elements Fair. This award, funded by an anonymous donor, pays special attention to the makers' quality of work and display. The 2019 New Makers Award recipient was Silversmith Katie Watson of North Berwick.
The Scottish Gallery Award for Design Innovation, open to all makers at Elements, was awarded to Jeweller Marianne Anderson of Glasgow.
