Artists Access to Colleges along with host universities are offering 50 spots to artists and designers to undertake a period of research or realise a project using art college facilities which include: workships, IT facilities, lending library, and lecture programme. AA2A schemes aim to benefit students and institutions through their interaction with practising artists. Artists from 2017-2018 schemes can now reapply for this year's schemes. All applicants must have at least one year of professional practice. Only MA /PhD students can apply in the same year they graduate. Applicants should be able to work with minimal technical support. Applicants will be asked to suggest ways that students can benefit from their presence. AA2A particularly welcomes applications from artists with disabilities, from culturally diverse backgrounds & non-graduates. Application packs are only available directly from the universities.

This year's host universites are: University of Centeral Lancashire (Apply by 16th Sept), University of Chester (Apply by 1st Sept), Staffordshire University (Apply by (tbc) Sept), University of Derby (Apply by 16th Sept), Loughborough University (Apply by 1st Sept), De Montfort University (Apply by 16th Sept), University of Wolverhampton (Apply by 9th Sept), Anglia Ruskin University (Apply by 8th Sept), University of Hertfordshire (Apply by2nd Sept), Buckinghamshire New University (Apply by 22nd Sept).
