2025 ITAMI International Jewellery Exhibition

Application is NOW OPEN!

Application Deadline: Friday, 25th July, 2025

Delivery period of Works: Tuesday, 29th July – Sunday, 10th August, 2025

An international competition, “ITAMI Internaional Craft Exhibition” has been doing an open call widely with two themes “Jewellery” and “Shuki Shuhaidai” alternately every year. We are really glad to say that we could have many excellent entry works every time, both from home and abroad. After a strict examination by good juries, only selected ones would be exhibited in the exhibition. In this exhibition, you can see various expressions by current artists. Since 1989 when The Museum of Arts and Crafts ITAMI opened, we have been holding “ITAMI Craft Competition”. It was 1998 that the competition started to accept overseas entries, growing in scale as “International Craft Exhibition –Itami-”. Moreover, from 2001, the theme has been “Jewellery” and “Shuki Shuhaidai” alternately every year. From 2022, as Itami City Museum of Art, History and Culture, we keep sending fresh, advanced, and pioneering expressions in new age, hoping it will contribute to further development of arts and crafts.

Application Information

Our competition marks its 13th time under the theme of “Jewellery” this year. The existence of jewellery is strongly connected to human body and soul, has been nurtured, loved and developed together with people in diverse cultures, climates and societies. We look forward to discovering many works by artists who live in the future, works that remind us of a new era and works that show a gentle gaze towards people.
