The Precious Collective teams us to raise funds for the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund

The Precious Collective believes in community and fundamentally opposes war. We stand with the people of Ukraine.

All donations to this fund will support humanitarian assistance in impacted communities in Ukraine and surrounding regions where Ukrainian refugees have fled. GlobalGiving's local partners in Ukraine are bringing relief to displaced families and people in high-risk areas, and they need resources to continue and expand their vital work.

What Can You Do As An Organisation?

We hope you will be able to spread our campaign to other makers who will want to take part. We have sent information below which you can copy and send to your community to help them understand how this fundraising will work and how they can be involved. What Can You Do As A Maker?

 Precious Collective are asking for as many wonderful jewellery artists, designers & makers that can (not just collective members), to donate one or more pieces of their work, which will be sold on the Precious Collective Instagram page (via our Just Giving page) with all proceeds going directly to Global Giving’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund.

As a donating artist, you will need to send:

• 3 images of each piece that you wish to donate (front view, back view and view of piece being worn) - these will only be used online, so do not need to be high resolution, professional or modelled shots and can be taken on a mobile phone. However they MUST show the work clearly (these images are being used to sell your work, so just need to be clear enough for potential buyers to see and get excited about what they’re buying) 
• dimensions of each piece (in mm)
• materials & processes used
• your contact email address
• your recommended sale price for each piece

This must all be sent to precious.collective@gmail.com ASAP.

All artists & makers will be responsible for the postage costs once your item(s) has sold as well as ensuring that your work is sent safely to its buyer. Although we ask for a recommended sale price, please note that we are trying to raise as many funds as we can and as quickly as possible, so it may be advisable to donate pieces that are not excessively expensive.

How Do I See What Jewellery Is For Sale?

Simply follow the following steps:

1. Visit https://www.instagram.com/precious.collectiveto see the work for sale in the Precious Collective feed and stories.
2. If you would like to purchase a piece of work, send a direct message on Instagram to the Precious Collective. Include which piece you want to buy and Lynne will guide you through how to pay for your item (so long as it hasn’t already sold). Please note that no money will be taken by Precious Collective, Alliages or any of our makers. Everything will be processed by Just Giving and go straight to the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund by GlobalGiving.
3. Once your donation has been received, we will send confirmation of purchase to the artist, who will be responsible for getting the piece of jewellery safely to you. 

Do I Have To Buy Or Donate Jewellery?

The simple answer is no. If you wish to donate without receiving anything other than the wonderful feeling of helping others in need, you CAN just donate by visiting the Precious Solidarity Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/precious-solidarity-for-ukraine 

Your donation to the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund will provide food, shelter & clean water, access to education, health & psychosocial support and so much more to the impacted communities in Ukraine and surrounding regions.
