Sima Vaziry Jewellery & Katherine Elizabeth Millinery have come together and made the decision to open a boutique studio and shop in order to showcase their award winning creations. The attractive high end items on display will appeal to a wide audience who appreciate exquisite design and craftsmanship.
Their strengths are that they have already been in business for many years and have successfully achieved a large client base and following. They are well known in the industry and have already showed their collections in high end venues such as Cliveden House, the Berkley, The British Museum and Fortnum and Mason to name a few.
They have a greater opportunity to become even more successful with a retail business as they will also have passing trade at the river side of OXO Tower boutique, can rely more on word of mouth and retail opportunity.
Award-winning designer Sima Vaziry creates beautiful handmade designer jewellery.
Sima’s unique jewellery reflects her heritage and her personal experiences, as well as the design disciplines acquired during her academic and professional life.
Her bi-cultural background influences all aspects of her work and her aim is to continue highlighting the positive sides of both cultures, making past and present meet.
Her first collection was chosen by the British Museum in support a major exhibition in 2011 and proved to be very successful. She was subsequently commissioned to produce a further three collections and a selection of her jewellery was added to their core range. Sima enjoys a very good relationship with the British Museum and has continued to supply them regularly for over five years.
Sima has appeared in segments on Sky TV and the BBC, an interview on BBC London radio and was invited to present her story at the British Museum’s BP theatre. She has been featured in Woman and Home, Tatler Bystander, Professional Jeweller and most other UK trade magazines.
