Silver + Form is thrilled to announce its inaugural exhibition and fair, set to take place at the stunning Turner Contemporary Art Gallery in Margate. This exclusive event, running from October 19th to 20th, 2024, will showcase a captivating collection of contemporary jewellery, silverware, objets d'art, and sculptures crafted by some of the most talented silversmiths and metalsmiths in the UK.
Silver + Form was founded by Anja Hessler, a Ramsgate-based artist known for her contemporary mobile sculptures, and Nessa Warner, a designer of fine silver and gold jewellery. The event was conceived out of a shared passion for creativity and craftsmanship, with the goal of providing a platform that highlights the diversity and excellence of contemporary jewellery and metalwork.
The Turner Contemporary Art Gallery, lauded by art critic Waldemar Januszczak as “probably the most elegant gallery interior in Britain right now,” provides the perfect backdrop for this celebration of craftsmanship and design. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to meet 24 of the UK’s most exciting emerging and established jewellery designers, silversmiths, and metalsmiths, and purchase exquisite handmade pieces directly from the creators.
