Astrid Berens & Maarten Bodt have announced the change of title and location of the now internationally attended Dutch event SIERAAD which has previously has its home in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Due to post-pandemic conditions and increased costs the events 20 year history of being based in Amsterdam will end in 2023.

As a result the event will be scaled back and relocated to the city of Buren, in the Betuwe region of Holland. Buren was selected because of its charm and rich history. As the organisers of the event say, “It offers a breathtaking setting that will be the perfect backdrop for three days of enjoying our renewed SIERAAD event.”

The benefits of the change will include a more intimate feel with up to 30 exhibitors, easy accessibility to the town, free parking at the event, and the continuance of the crucial 1-to-1 contact with the makers, which is seen as is key to the culture of the event.

The event will return in 2024 under the new name of SIERAAD & FRIENDS drawing on its growth and reach over its twenty year history.
