Aldi’s Christmas advert teaser left shoppers gobsmacked as Kevin asked Katie the big question

To mark the moment, and celebrate 10 years of Aldi’s beloved Kevin the Carrot, the supermarket has unveiled limited‑edition ‘Carrot’ gold engagement rings - available via an exclusive shopper competition, designed by Sheffield business Jessica Flinn Fine Jewellery

In a world where celebrity proposals are making headlines with dazzling 10‑carat rocks - like Taylor Swift’s recent show‑stopping sparkler - Aldi is proving there’s room for more carrot and less carat.

Crafted in collaboration with British jeweller, Jessica Flinn Fine Jewellery, the bespoke rings feature a Carrot-shaped orange cubic zirconia at its heart, complemented by two delicate marquise peridot accents.

Jessica, of Jessica Flinn Fine Jewellery says “We have loved being part of this iconic love story. Working on this campaign has been so much fun, we are honoured to create distinctive pieces that celebrate love and the stories of the couples that come to us. What better way to do this than create these one off carrot rings for Kevin and Katie!”

This is different to Jessica Flinn’s usual work, as they make one off pieces that are either ready to wear, or work with customers to create beautiful custom and bespoke rings designed to last forever.

This year marks a decade of Kevin the Carrot bringing festive cheer to UK screens, and Aldi chose to celebrate with a golden tribute to the nation’s favourite root vegetable - and the exciting news of his engagement to Katie, revealed in the supermarket’s latest Christmas advert teaser.

To mark this milestone, Aldi launched the range of exclusive, limited-edition ‘Carrot’ gold engagement rings, designed to help Kevin fans stage their own truly a-peel-ing proposal. Launching from 5th November via an exclusive shopper competition, the rings will be completely free for those lucky enough to get their hands on one.
