The custom 18ct gold, rainbow moonstone, and diamond earrings were created by internationally acclaimed designer Fei Liu as a tribute to resilience and renewal following the devastating wildfires that swept through Los Angeles. Proceeds from the sale are donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu, supporting youth and community recovery initiatives.
The earrings — featured by Bonhams as part of their California Jewels sales — captured the attention of collectors for their ethereal craftsmanship and symbolic storytelling. Bonhams also highlighted the piece across their social channels, where it received strong engagement and admiration.
Born of fire and grace, Kiss of An Angel embodies a whispered blessing crafted in 18ct gold. Each earring unfurls like a wing in mirrored flight, cradling a luminous rainbow moonstone and diamonds at its heart. The shifting colours within the moonstone represent hope, new beginnings, and the quiet strength to navigate life’s changes.
