PRESS RELEASE: Dimexon publishes its 2026 ESG report, Crafted with Transparency

The diamond manufacturer’s fifth annual sustainability report covers its new traceability platform, Infinitrace, and a 50% cut in its direct emissions since 2019.

Dimexon has published its fifth annual environmental, social and governance (ESG) report, Crafted with Transparency. The report covers the company’s progress during 2025 and comes as Dimexon celebrates its 60th anniversary and 50 years as a De Beers Sightholder.

Traceability

The report gives an update on Infinitrace, Dimexon’s new diamond traceability platform, which the company describes as an industry first. It brings together traceability, ESG data and independent verification in one system, tracking diamonds as small as 0.001ct from rough to polished. Clients receive personalised reports showing where their 

diamonds came from and their environmental and social impact, giving them a real-time view of what they buy. Dimexon says all of its diamonds have verified provenance.

Environment

Dimexon has halved its absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions, those from its own operations and the energy it buys, compared with 2019. Other highlights include:

• 57% of its energy now comes from renewable sources
• Solar power has cut its manufacturing site in Coimbatore, India, by 75.85% from the national grid
• More than 11,000 kilolitres of wastewater were recycled and reused, with zero waste to landfill and zero liquid discharge at Coimbatore
• Its first report aligned with the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD)

People

Women make up 78.7% of Dimexon’s workforce. The company delivered more than 7,000 hours of training, up 78% on 2024, and all employees completed ESG and ethics training. Its manufacturing sites offer parental leave and on-site crèches, and 92% of employees returned to work after parental leave.

Dimexon is a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council and the World Diamond Council, and a signatory to the Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030 and the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles. It has offices in Antwerp, Dubai, Hong Kong, Mumbai and Paris, and manufactures in Coimbatore.
