The actress chose white gold and diamonds by the Paris jewellery house Messika when she took to the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.

Dakota Johnson was a presenter at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, held in Los Angeles on Sunday 27 September. It was the first time the ceremony had been held in the city since 2017.

For the occasion, she wore two pieces by Messika:

  • The Divine Enigma necklace in white gold, pavé-set with diamonds and finished with an emerald-cut diamond pendant
  • The Glam’Azone double ring in white gold, pavé-set with diamonds

The emerald-cut pendant gives the necklace a clean, architectural focal point, while the double ring wraps across two fingers. Glam’Azone is one of the house’s best-known designs, playing on movement and the way diamonds catch the light, which the brand promotes under its “diamonds in motion” theme.

Messika was founded in Paris in 2005 by Valérie Messika, daughter of the diamond dealer André Messika, and has become a regular on red carpets.
