PRESS RELEASE: Aedo Magazine Launches

aedo is a new independent magazine published and printed in Italy.

It collects visions and insights into the culture of contemporary ornament, to try to connect the interests, inspirations and aspirations of those who find themselves crossing this scene: you will discover interpreters of jewelry and body ornament outside the box, who create and show with originality. It is made up of looks and critical writing. It is perfect for those who want to travel unexplored territories: collectors, gallery owners, cultical readers, travelers with miles or imagination. 

For artists and jewellery designers, but not only, aedo becomes a bridge between Italy and the international scene.

A bridge can be crossed in both directions, and therefore texts and contributions come from Italian and international authors, published in Italian and English.

We come out once a year: now or never for issue 1.2026.

The aedo is the singer of epic poems in ancient Greece. As then, here aedo is an interpreter, a selector, an amplifier, a communicator of culture. In a form that is becoming archaic, the printed paper.

a-Edo then sounds, literally, like a dedication: "to Edo", to Edoardo, master engraver, founder of the Negroni Tooling Shop, the place you know today as the Negroni Archive in Milan.
