Alison Macleod Jewellery, a Scottish based fine jewellery designer has launched her new ‘Silhouette Collection’, a range that celebrates the exquisite elements that make up her jewellery, from the lustrous fair trade gold to brilliant-cut diamonds that adorn some of the key pieces.

Alison is part of a select group of jewellery designers representing Scotland at New York Jewellery Week taking place between the 16th and 22nd of November.

'I am excited to present the new Silhouette Collection, a series of simple silhouettes with a nod to traditional love tokens, amulets and good luck charms, each piece celebrating the lustrous qualities of Fairtrade gold.'

'In a year that has bought about challenges for many makers and our clients, I wanted to strip back one of my collections, much like we have all had to strip back our lives. The new collection celebrates the simple pleasures of one of my signature designs.'

This range explores further the texture that features in her Catkin collection, with some larger pieces which are a real celebration of the beautiful matt gold which has become a signature of Alison's work.

Brilliant cut diamonds appear in some of the pieces to accentuate the soft sheen of the gold and add decadence to these simply elegant pieces. This collection truly has something for everyone whether it be romantic love tokens, good luck charms or a love for treasures found in nature, each piece tells a story and continues Alison's love affair with antique treasures.
