Designer lifestyle brand, Nambé, hosted its official UK launch event on June 29, giving retailers, buyers, journalists and social media influencers the chance to see its extensive ranges for the first time.

The award-winning brand took over a private room at London’s popular Hoxton Hotel to bring its lifestyle collections to life, while also displaying its new sterling silver jewellery offer that impressed buyers at JCK Las Vegas earlier this year.

Representatives from jewellery retailers and department stores were particularly impressed with the brand’s wide-ranging giftware items, including wedding, baby, new- home and special occasion items. Buyers in attendance also looked to the brand’s Christmas-themed collections for their stores, which includes nativity scenes, Christmas tree ornaments and snow globes.

The sophisticated setting gave Nambé the opportunity to highlight its
extensive homeware ranges, including dinner tables draped in the brand’s signature Skye Dinnerware Collection, which draws inspiration from the rolling hills of the Isle of Skye. Elsewhere the POP Dinnerware collection attracted attention with its vibrant colours, perfect for mixing and matching, as did the Cabo Collection, which blends Nambé ’s signature eight-metal alloy with the lighter, rustic tone of ash wood across serving bowls and entertaining pieces.

The vision of the ideal Nambé home was completed with a selection of barware, including wine racks, wine glasses, ice buckets and decanters that feature a combination of materials, including Nambé’s signature alloy, acacia wood and glass.

Northampton-based retailer, St Gyles Jewellers, is a current stockist of Nambé giftware. Owner, Kathryn Ozlati, attended the launch event to discover new items in the brand’s extensive ranges. She comments:

“Nambé is a very exciting modern and stylish brand that will transform any home living space with its clean and ergonomic lines, formed by metal and wood. As exclusive Northampton stockists we look forward to expanding the range and spreading the Nambé word."

Nambé International Sales Director, Shannon Brown, who travelled from the United States to attend the event, comments:

“It was important to show the breadth of the Nambé range, and to showcase the features and benefits of Nambé homeware products, including the temperature retention feature of our alloy metal pieces (making them oven- and freezer-proof). We were also able to show our jewellery range, complete with several new pieces, that attendees were able to try on. The feedback on the jewellery was uniformly very positive, and being shown alongside the homewares product showed how the Nambé aesthetic beautifully translates from one category to the other. Showing the breadth of categories meant we were able to both inform and inspire the press and retailers who attended."

Speaking on the success of the brand’s UK launch event, UK Sales Manager, Mark Riddle, says:

We were thrilled to welcome so many buyers, retailers and press to our vision of the Nambé home, complete with best-selling dinnerware, jewellery, serveware, barware and gifts. The excitement around Nambé is really encouraging, and we look forward to welcoming new retail partners on board in the coming weeks and months.”

Initially debuted in the United States in September 2016, Nambé Jewellery proved immediately popular with the brand’s loyal homeware customers, who recognised its signature, sculptural aesthetic. Its initial roll-out in 400 doors across the US and the reaction of retail partners at JCK Las Vegas proves the collection has wide appeal among discerning customers.

Highlights from the range include a selection of statement cuffs, eye-catching rings, hoop earrings and pendants, each with the brand’s bold proportions and emphasis on everyday wearability and versatility.
