The Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council (GC&DC) has witnessed stellar ticket sales for its upcoming ‘In Conversation’ evening, featuring British jewellery superstars Stephen Webster and Theo Fennell.
Tickets for the event sold out in early January, more than a month before the evening at London’s Goldsmiths’ Centre on February 15th 2017.
Bringing together two of the UK’s foremost jewellers to share personal anecdotes and insight from their careers, the GC&DC’s In Conversation series has become a must-attend event in the jewellery calendar.
Jos Skeates, GC&DC chairman and founder of award-winning retailer EC One, will compere the event.
Skeates said, “The evening with Stephen and Theo will be fantastic for those who snapped up tickets; they will be enlightened and enveloped into the world of both designers, discovering more about their careers, international growth and views on the jewellery industry. We are thrilled that our In Conversation events remain so popular, it is testament to the standing of the Council that it continues to host such brilliant jewellery talent.”
Ticket holders attending on the night will have the chance to view an exhibition of award winning work from the 2016 Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council Awards, alongside a feature showcase of work from Stephen Webster and Theo Fennell. There will also be an opportunity to network with other industry guests, and the chance to pose questions to Webster and Fennell.
Hosted in partnership with the Goldsmiths’ Centre, February’s event marks the third year of sell out events for the GC&DC’s In Conversation series, and follows high attendance and positive feedback of the Council’s talk with Theo Fennell and Tomasz Donocik at IJL 2016, and last year’s incredible evening with jewellery designers Shaun Leane and Leo De Vroomen. Prior to this was the unique Cartier Award Winners In Conversation evening at The Goldsmiths’ Centre.
