Huili Jin is a fashion designer based at the Royal College of Art. They have just launched the collection ‘Escape’.
Huili Jin, origionally from China is a Fashion Design student at the Royal College of Art,
Exploring themes such as functionality and sustainability, these two key themes frequently appear in their work and are continually explored.
For the Escape collection innovation of the structure of the clothing was explored, allowing a swif transition from work outfits to casual outfits. This was achived through creating features like detachable collars and ties. The transition functionality helps wearers mentally detach themselves from a work mindset. Additionally, bright colours and prints were utilised to provide wearers with a visually soothing and uplifting experience.
