Gecko Jewellery have sought inspiration from some of the 20th century’s most highly regarded contemporary female artists for the new Fiorelli Silver collection, which launches this week. The new range, which features 74 new lines, contains striking, contemporary pieces, with the designers drawing inspiration from the work of Frida Kahlo, Yayoi Kusama and Anni Albers.
Commenting on the new collection, Creative Director Desiree Pringle, said: “The new Fiorelli Silver collection is a beautiful fusion of art and design, featuring minimal and modern profiles which lend themselves easily to every day wear and layering. The artists who inspired the collection are and were all strong female characters, ground-breaking in their creative vision, and each with a distinct look which served as perfect source of inspiration for a modern brand like Fiorelli. The result is a new, fresh updated collection that creates talking points for retailers looking to offer their customers on-trend but unique fashion statement jewellery.”
The new collection channels Frieda Kahlo’s passion for colour through a multi stone necklace and earrings, and the vivid pop of orange in the organic bubble set.
Yayoi Kusama’s beautiful incorporation of spherical shapes is echoed in the half and half pave ball set.
And Anni Albers graphical artistic eye inspired the rectangle link mixed metal and pave set.
The collection also features a new charm bracelet, providing customers with the opportunity to create their own story through charms. There are 15 different charms in a variety of textures/finishes, and plain or semi-set choices also
