Iconic duo, Wright and Teague, close their doors for nine months tomorrow to embark on their next enigmatic project. Today is the last day customers can make orders via the Wright and Teague eBoutique or browse and purchase from the London store. It's not too late to snap up a piece before the short hiatus.
The pair met whilst studying together at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, and have become renowned for a plethora of reasons. Their ethical stance, individual style, craftsmanship is amongst a few. Each piece within their own collection is made by hand in their Shoreditch studio- and the pair say they have never been tempted to bring in other teams or companies, and very much believe part of the allure of their jewellery is the hand-made aspect. However, Wright and Teague have partnered on many collaborations and commissions over the years, from film, to museum pieces, to charity-work, with the likes of LoveGold, the V&A and Oxfam. With all this in mind, we have no doubt that the next nine months have something interesting in store.
